FCAJ Launches 'Money in the Pot' Research Series

Florida is entering a new era with its implementation of medical marijuana. How will the state generate revenue from this new market? What are the policies in other states? To help answer these and other questions, the FCAJ has launched a comprehensive research project called "Money in the Pot." The series contains three documents thus far. There is a speadsheet containing detailed information on how the states that have legalized marijuana for either medical or recreational use are deriving income through taxes and licensing. Two other documents provide background information and recommendations.

The organization is freely offering these documents as a resource for those, like FCAJ, who are closely following these issues. Because this field is rapidly developing and changing, these documents will be updated on a frequent basis. To view them, visit the FCAJ Research page.
