To educate and inform Floridians on best policies and practices which increase public safety, save taxpayer dollars, and increase the likelihood that justice-involved youth and adults will become contributing members of society.


Vision


The vision of the Florida Center to Advance Justice is to be the recognized leader in convening vibrant and diverse forums to discuss all aspects of juvenile and criminal justice policy that result in systems reform, data-driven decision making, excellence in care, and a wise investment of taxpayer dollars.


Goals


  • A center that is diverse, inclusive, and able to provide a forum to discuss and debate current juvenile justice and criminal justice research, issues, and reform strategies.
  • A center that links efforts of local, state, and national reform groups.
  • A center that moves research to practice and policy to practice.
  • A center that declares leadership and creates a call to action.
